Description

I decided to share a pattern after a request.
So here it is.

Milennia puzzle from Yu-Gi-Oh

2 strands of Normal sized Yellow or gold yarn and a little black (yarn that fits 2-3 mm crochet hooks, I don't understand worsted weight and sport weight yarn etc etc)

3,5 mm crochethook

Pipe cleaners, 2 or 3 of them

Felt in matching color (optional)

ch - chain
st - normal stitch
sl - slip stitch
v - 2 sc in one
m - magic ring
( )x - repeat
F/O - fasten off

This work is made in non-turning crochet, so do NOT turn the work!
Use 2 strands of yarn in all pieces, eccept the eye.

Top- make one (about 10x10 cm)

Round 1-2: ch 20, crochet back 19 st (19)
Round 3-23: ch 1, 19 st (19)
You might need to add a row or so, just make sure that the sides are equally long.
Round 24: st around the square. F/O and leave a long tail for sewing.

The handle

Leave a tail for sewing
Round 1: ch 8 in a ring (8)
Round 2-18: st 8 (8) F/O and leave a tail
Stuff lightly

The handle-base

Round 1-2: ch 11, back 10 st (10)
Round 3-12: ch 1, st 10 (10)
F/O and leave a long tail for sewing

Sides- make 4

Remember, NEVER turn your work!!!
Round 1-2: ch 22, crochet back 21 st (21)
Round 3-6: ch 1, st 21 (21)
Round 7-27: st the row, no ch in the next row, leaving each row one st shorter than the next.
F/O and leave a tail for sewing.

The eye

With one strand of yellow:
Round 1:  4 in magic ring (4)
Round 2: (V) x 4, change to black (8)
Round 3: (1, V)x 2, ch 2, st 1 on the other side, (1, V)x 2, ch 2, st 1 on the other side, sl.
F/O and leave a tail for sewing

Putting it together

Sew or glue the eye in the middle of one side.
Use pipe cleaners to form the golden eye and use two strands of yellow yarn to sew it around the eye, forming the 3D effect (see picture)
Sew the handle to the base
Sew the base on the top
And the sides
And the top, forming the puzzle.
Stuff, but not as much so it becomes bulky

Add a chain, or crochet your own if you want to.
Add the corner details in felt if you feel like it.

There you go, have fun with your new puzzle.

I don't own Yu-Gi-Oh or the puzzle, but the pattern is MINE!!!!!!

If you find something wrong with the pattern so note me and I will correct it.
Send me a picture of your finished work :)

Don't sell the finished work or the pattern, but you are allowed to make one or two for gifts. And don't claim the pattern as your own, for I will be mad and hunt your puzzle if you do so.
